What Others Are Saying

As a voice teacher for the past 29 years, I've had many students from all walks of life.  Here are a few that you might like to hear from!

As a 50-something adult, I thought I was past my prime. I had lost my range and, what little singing I could do, was hampered by performance anxiety. You taught me so much about technique, posture, diction, and breathing -- to the point that my performance anxiety is under control. This is simply amazing to me!  I now sing duets and solos, and participate in the Racine Choral Arts. -Susan

“Kathryn brought to our community a unique, excellent youth program with SouthEast Wisconsin Performing Arts fine arts camps and Opera Ala Carte.

Her passion, talent, knowledge and sense of humor was so appreciated by those involved with the organization from students, parents, professional performers, volunteers, audience and community members. Her departure due to her husband's career opportunity has left a void.

I was significantly impressed with the one-on-one work as a voice teacher she provided to my teen daughter, Kaisa. With about 6 months of weekly lessons, I witnessed a child with a God-given gift of a beautiful voice develop into an amazingly trained, disciplined singer. The work is truly evident.

As a parent of one of her students and business colleague, I significantly value the opportunity myself and my daughter had to have worked with Kathryn.”

Kathryn Peperkorn is a phenomenal voice teacher, and I consider myself lucky to have been her student. Kathryn is a teacher who knows when to encourage, and she knows when to push you so that you can be the best you can be. She is a wonderful pedagogue who was able to teach me the foundations of good singing, and then together we built on that knowledge and honed my skills, and confidence, as a singer. Her knowledge of repertoire is extensive; from Mozart to Wagner, Kathryn has pretty much taught it all. She excels at working with students of every age, and her educational background along with her real-life experiences makes her one of the best voice teachers I have ever had the privilege of learning from.
